Fellowship – Testimonial 2019
I enrolled the fellowship of prof. dr. Koller in 2019 upon recommendation of my department chair prof. dr. Bartels. I got to know prof dr. Koller as an excellent spine surgeon with unique capabilities to operate on very complex spine cases. He not only enlarged my understanding of spinal anatomy and biomechanics of the spine, but also showed me that being a good spinal surgeon goes far beyond the operating theatre.
Today I am a neurosurgical spine surgeon in the department of neurosurgery in the Radboud University hospital in Nijmegen, the Netherlands, where I still reap the benefits of my fellowship in everyday practice.
In this fellowship you have the chance to participate in complex surgical techniques that are not common in everyday practice and join this excellent team in surgery and everyday clinical and outpatient activities.
As part of this fellowship I had the opportunity to be involved in scientific research and together with the team of professor Koller published two scientific papers.
